With many bags out on the market you might wonder why should you buy Rev-Packs?  Perhaps some of these points will help convince you.

Design:  Rev designs our packs with an eye for rugged service.  Typically, he doesn't make packs for a particular motorcycle, but rather something that's simple and functional on most brands.  Since we manufacture so many products, something we make will fill your needs quite nicely.  Because “simple” is our key word, the packs avoid the busy, knapsack look.  They compliment the lines of your bike rather than detracting from them.  There are few outside pockets, as they create leaks and take away from the clean look.  If you should trade bikes, you don’t need to replace your luggage because it no longer fits; they’re universal and fit most makes.

Weather resistance:  In making our packs, we try not to use any unnecessary or exposed seams.  Water leaks through seams.  If the seams are hidden or non-existent, most of the potential to leak will be eliminated.  When we use zippers, we make sure there are weather flaps covering to keep water and grime out. Our packs are made of heavy-duty Cordura nylon, sprayed with an extra heavy coating of solvent-based urethane, making the material itself, waterproof.  For those of you making some expeditions through a rain forest, we do make weather covers for many of our products. The covers do keep the packs from fading if you leave them on your bike all of the time and help keep the grime off, and they won’t get wet!

Storage:  Most bags take up lots of room in the garage when not in use, but Rev-Pack makes a variety of packs that roll to small bundles for off season storage.  This makes them easy to put away in the garage or to stick in a tank pack in case you need that extra room on a trip.  Many of our packs fit inside one another for storage ease.

Capacity:  Everything we make is designed with a distance traveler in mind.  Our packs carry a lot.  All “D” rings, straps, buckles and seams are reinforced to allow you to pack ‘em with rocks if you so choose.  (Be sure to check your bikes load limit!)  We try to keep compartments big, not segmented, because over the years, we’ve found you can carry more.  Our Excursion Pack is the ultimate for the distance traveler.

Colors:  Most of our products can be sewn in a plethora of colors that either accent or match your bike, however it's not our favorite thing to do. You see it delays your delivery, as each color pack ordered is custom. If you want it, we'll make it, but it will cost you 20% more. If you're willing to pay the extra, we're willing to sew them.Contact us to see what colors are currently available. You can mix and match choices on many of our packs. But you'll pay a 100% restocking fee if your creativity is out of tune with ours and you want to return your creation. We know about 99% of you will still prefer black, but that’s OK, it’s a nice color too.

Longevity:  Our packs last a long time, just like our company.  We’ve watched many manufacturers come and go but there are only a few of us that have been around awhile.  We’ve been in business over thirty years, and it’s come to the point that we’ve stopped counting.  This means that those of you that purchased from us years ago can still call if you need a strap or a buckle replaced.  Frankly, we wish some of this stuff would wear out soon so you would buy from us again.  We missed the chapter about planned obsolescence.  I guess we’ll just keep waiting.  For you new to Rev-Pack, we intend to be around another thirty years to service your purchases.

Overhead:  Again, this doesn’t describe our packs, but it does tell you how we’ve been able to keep steady prices over the past several years.  These prices have made it possible for you to purchase quality packs at a reasonable price.  Because we live here, our costs of doing business gets absorbed in our costs of doing life.  It means a savings for you.  About the only thing that effects our prices are the cost of oil, as an ingredient in the Cordura and the cost of shipping.  The rest pretty much stays the same and we pass that on to you.  We’ve combined some packs to help give you an even a greater savings when you are planning your trip.  See the order form for details.

Guarantee:  We don’t know much about other companies’ guarantees, but we do know about ours.  We guarantee everything we make, always.  If you should order and find our packs don’t fit your needs or they’re not what you expected, you don’t need to hesitate to return them.  We guarantee all of our workmanship and materials with normal use.  It you should lie them in front of a hay rake and find they become shredded, we may not replace them, but then you probably shouldn’t be riding a motorcycle anyway.

Now if some of these reasons don’t convince you to check us out, we have one more compelling reason.  Our packs are 100% homegrown; American made, by a small cottage industry.  We give jobs to rural people, which helps the economy of our small valley.  Companies like ours help make America competitive in this age of foreign imports.  Give us a try.  We think you’ll like what we have to offer.
