The Rev-Pack Tour Pack is now our best selling pack. It was featured in the BMW Owners News and was described as the answer for long distance touring.
Designed to straddle the luggage rack or rear portion of the seat, the Tour Pack can accommodate a bedroll, sleeping pad, tent and poles, plus miscellaneous gear. Reflective stripes on the back make for high visibility. It attaches via a 4 point quick release buckle system for easy on and off and provides an exceptionally stable riding position. It is made of heavy-duty urethane coated Cordura nylon.
Extra "D" rings sewn in the seams make it easy to attach extra stuff everywhere. Comes with a shoulder strap. It's a bag that's made to travel anywhere you're ready to go. The dimensions are 26" across, 12" thick, 16" high (including the legs). The crotch is 13" across and 5" high.

the tour-pack seems to be the best and also a very cheap alternative to tail cases, and it really gets better every time i use it in a different way. first off, it really has a lot of space which fulfills my first use of storing my overpants, my helmet. neck brace and the bike cover with maybe half of room remaining. i have an american kargo trooper backpack (which is also amazing). the trooper has 4 metal d rings (for the helmet pocket) which i can attach to tourpack to its extra d-rings conveniently placed on the top. so i can still carry the kargo trooper bag on the bike without having to wear it on my back.
i believe the description for this product can be 10 times better on this website, as well as the images. for example, the bag can be made very compact and short by pulling on the handles and pushing the rings down. that prevents it from falling in front of the exhaust on my bike. i dont know if other products have this but this is an extremely nice feature.
needless to say, i am extremely happy with the tourpack. it would be nice to have some pictures to show it on my 2003 f650gs but the review system does not let me upload images. i really recommend this to anyone who is looking into soft bags on the tail.
